It's really hot here too. I'm genuinely reconsidering giving my room a hoover because it's just so hot, but...it needs doing!

It’s way too hot for chores. Most I’ll be doing is sorting out the washing up later.
This seems like a reasonable solution but then humanity as a whole might die off when we freeze...

That’s a problem for future us besides if the sun blew up we’d peobably all burn to death anyway.
I agree on the chores front. Unfortunately I’m still trying to do outside work, at the minute that means sanding the cabin down ready for painting.

I'm sorry cult lewder but I must interject, for 2 reasons
1. the expenses for the disco ball - destroying a stellar body would cost a lot
2. the sun is there because something blew up

But if we threatened to blow the sun up then we could blackmail the entire planet and get way more than enough for the disco ball quite easily.

I could threaten to punish the earth by taken the sun away until the ransom is payed, but I fear people are so cynical these days they'll just take the punishment

I’m sure enough people would realise no sun = you’re dead. There’s be enough that would pay.
Pistachio, just a shame it isn't as readily available in stores as the more common flavours.

Ben and jerry’s, but naturally only when it’s on sale because no way it’s worth £4-5 a tub. Otherwise I’m not super fussy about it. Although there used to be an amazing ice cream place in town, but that closed over the winter and was replaced with some tech repair place

Peach is by far my favorite Ice cream flavor, also very hard to find. The University I attended many moons ago has a creamery where they make to-die-for ice cream fresh from the cows, and their peach Ice cream actually has full slices of peaches in it, not just little bits...
As far as ice cream from the local grocery stores, one store carries this flavor, and it makes some awesome milkshakes, too:
And even though I appreciate a good Toblerone, I don't care too much for any foods flavored with chocolate, including ice cream.
