FWIW, one of my new pairs of glasses took me around three weeks to adjust to.
Yeah it can take a while.

Whenever I have new glasses for the first couple of weeks I always feel shorter than I am, weird.
Oh my god! Do you get that as well?
With that pair of glasses I mentioned before, it really felt like my chin was skimming over the pavement at first! It was really strange.

well I think I'm getting used to them a little more now. things seem closer to me, but if I'm focusing on something like reading, I'm no longer leaning forward or all that jazz, I can post sitting back without too much trouble of typos

Heh, I'm almost 60 and my bedroom still needs cleaned pretty badly. It's not really that cluttered, It's just that with living alone, I tend to neglect the vacuuming and dusting - for like, years...

England vs Croatia. I think that is what I wanted. Croatia are obviously better than Russia but that CROWD in Moscow to boot!? Yeah no thanks. Also if we do manage to beat Croatia it puts us in a better position in the final.
As for our chances against Croatia I really fancy us to do it. Croatia have limped to the Semi in the end. So as long as they don't rediscover that form then we could well be in the Final. At least we're there till Saturday regardless now.

No way did I think they'd get into the semi finals. I was happy just to get out of the group. The way the draw has gone and the big teams going out were never going to get a better chance to win it.
