I like all insects in the family Apocrita, even the things that lay their eggs in other creatures and then explode out of them. I think they have fascinating biology and social habits, watching paper wasps build their delicate nests and ants do... just about anything they do is amazing. They're probably also the sort of creature it will at some point be beneficial to genetically engineer with humans.

Is it bad I immediately think of xenomorphs when you mention explode out of them?

I get Wirrn vibes from that statement, they were Xenomorphs before Alien existed when they appeared in The Ark in Space.

I am willing to admit the Wirrn are totally awesome in every way. Pretty much indestructible. Certainly make for some of the most interesting audio dramas.

Public transport does not stop AyaMachi from obtaining tea! The country can come to a complete stop if it must but I shall get my tea!
