Well, the more you have to dress formally the more likely you are to get a job, but failing that aha! Limt's offer still stands! Due to an unforeseen snafu in Peita, we have vacancies in ranks 3,4 and all ranks under 5 up to 47. Yes, a young lady such as yourself could slay monsters and save lives! Limt needs you! (To not tell the public we've just given an abyssal one the opportunity to move south)

It's been absolutely freezing here today! Or is it just me?

B****y heck, I've had the heating on high and I've got layers on, and it STILL took me ages to warm up!

I caught the weather this morning, and apparently it's getting colder at the weekend and more snow is to be expected (though not as bad as last time).
 
as usual, I got the shift coming up before long, so I'm in a fit of black depression (I like my sleep...) knackered trying write that other part for my haberdashery this morning, I was thinking if i kept doing it after work it would keep me sharp. looks like I'm getting to the age where 500 coffees are a must

Man dude, you never stop!

I think you really DO need 500 coffees! What days do you work? Is it fixed or do you rotate them with other staff?

Kind of a rotation. Wednesday to wednesday usually one week days the other nights, I get those days off between them though, and of course, management occasionally asks for more
Though the extras I've been working are covering someone else

Well, it's like most typical jobs. Just doing the same thing for long hours day after day, it's just a really boring slog stitching together mostly things that meet the bin as soon as someone gets them. I'd rather have a job where I felt I had progressed something at the end of the day, or end up with something someone actually used

Yeah I get that dude, totally. Is it printing you're in? Large-format? I've done that before and it is very repetetive. Unfortunately I was only operating the printer and the laminator, since I wasn't qualified at the time to do any of the graphics aspect; that would have made it better.

I'm on a stitcher, no idea what you mean by large format! Most jobs are just a few thousand to run through. Oh and most of the machines are quite close by and loud and it's full of people who think I can hear them over that, so that's heaven

Large/wide-format printing - the ones that you use to print graphics onto vinyl (vehicle/signage graphics). Ah okay, never used on of those, but I CAN imagine it being loud! I've used an industrial embroidery machine before - that **** was Japanese torture! There was just enough room behind it to crouch behind and scream when things were just going pear-shaped...and it was loud enough to mask the screams as well XD
