The General Conversation Area

The three days to do anything in it always drove me crazy as hell. Still a great game though. Must say I prefer OoT though.
Inverted song of time makes things a lot easier, that and planning.
I like OOT but the overworld is empty and the NPCs are bland. MM remedies both of these issues and is a more investing story IMO. Of course if Nintendo decide to remaster OOT for the Switch to celebrate its 20th anniversary then I'd happily buy it.

That is true however I played it (well both actually) when I was younger so planning was not my forte back then. Agree with you in regards to the story though.

It's a necessary life skill. Just like trapping people in a room in The Sims by removing the door. So I hear...
or, play bustin' out as intended, fashioning your character after your favourite frontman at the time (jon davis from korn) not know what's wrong with him after moving him to a gothic house, then having him come home, miserable and hungry, then have him cook his food with a persian f***ing rug right next to the oven, the oven fails, the persian rug turns the entire kitchen into an inferno, the owner of the house comes in to just panic, all he does is panic, as poor jon davis catches fire and becomes more roast than man, the grim reaper arrives and for 10 minutes ol' death himself can't do his job because the owner of the house is in the way, not doing anything particularly interesting, with death finally teleporting to actually do his job. the firemen couldn't get in, it just burnt out

Oh my God you guys this is my childhood you're ruining here XD

I can't stop laughing! Those wooden train sets, oh man, I remember playing with those in school, after waiting ages for that one kid to move on to another toy already!
didn't we ruin ol' tom before? something about coupling? something you said?

They're well worth re-exploring, each time I play I discover something new

Haha, my two girls had a huge wooden Thomas set when they were little, along with the table to set it up on - although they had 5 times the amount of track that would fit on that table, and at least 30 engines and cars. Their layouts could pretty much cover the living room floor. I guess it didn't help that their Old Man was a big train nut and a Railfan Veteran around that time, lol... They even got to ride behind a real-life Thomas, as the local tourist railroad hosted a Thomas Festival weekend every year, and a live-steam Thomas locomotive would come there to pull the trains all weekend

They may still even have all of that wooden Thomas set stored away at their mother's house, not sure if she ever sold any of it or not, now that my girls are 21 and 17.

I think I still have that meme I posted
Oh God no XD

I live not far from Llangollen, where it's pretty much steam train central. It attracts lots of train enthusiasts, and although I haven't been there for a while, there was a redundant Thomas train there whose carriages had been turned into little shops selling gifts; it's where I found a die-cast percy toy and I loved it!

EDIT: I've also seen the Flying Scotsman there years ago, it was quite special!

I live quite near the brecon railway, at least that's what I think it is. they basically just keep this old train in good nick, took my nephew there once, but we didn't get tickets for the train. it's one of those older ones with old wooden benches

I also had a ride along Thomas when I was little, as well as the books, bedding (including lampshade), and toys...yeah, I loved Thomas XD

I forgot to mention, the sheep are lambing here right about now, and there are some new born lambs near me, all tiny and cute as ****, and they wear little orange flourescent jackets.

It's just too adorable. They're frolicking around in little orange jackets!

Wow, the farmers actually put jackets on them to keep track of 'em all? How sweet! 😄
It's really cute, and they're tiny wee things! Some of them had shed their jackets (you could see some strewn about the field), but oh my gosh it's the cutest thing! My Mum was telling me she walked past the field the other day and heard this one little lamb bleating for all of Wales for it's Mother; just stood there in the middle of the field until it's Mum appeared and ran to it XD

Thomas seems to be a particularly popular one in the steamer community...
