I sound Welsh to other people, even other Welsh people, but not to myself...

Yeah, I like that one too, I just prefer the Northern Irish accent. Probably stemmed from when I saw Ash play V Festival (many, many, MANY yeras ago), and I didn't actually know they were Irish (because I didn't bother to read the program I'd bought)...but when he spoke (the lead singer), I turned to mush! XD

I actually quite like the Black Country accents (like Frank Skinner)...it's not quite as exeggerated as the Brummie accent...

Oh, okay XD Well, I was expecting a Scottish voice but it's in Japanese!
You’ve got to be the only person that likes the Black Country accent.

I once dated someone from TBC; the only thing I liked about the dude was his accent...

I listened, and I can imagine someone scottish having a deep voice like that

takes @~AyaMachi~ under his wing, and introduces her to the south you can f***ing tell where people in the valleys are from
Well, yes, people often associate the Welsh accents with the Southern parts, so they're instantly recognisable! I think people from Mid Wales sound a bit wierd though...

A speech impediment, but no discernible accent
Oh I see, I'm guessing there's not really any distinguishable accent from some Southern parts of England? Except places like the West Country...but I'm not entirely sure about the more Southern Counties...it's Herts right?

Hertfordshire yes, can't say my Rs either

Wow, that's such a mild accent. :)

I've got to be honest: I didn't even suss his accent out as being Welsh.

Yeah, that's pretty much me...I even sound like a man when I speak! My accent does get stronger if I'm nervous, or If I'm speaking on the phone for some reason...

I will likely sound very Welsh when I have my interview next Wednesday...

I seem to be unintentionally putting extra apostrophes in places they shouldn't be this evening...

He sounds as common as muck! XD

Wrexham is only about 4 miles form the English border though as well...

He was an asshat I assume! Oh wait he was from Dudley. There’s no assuming.

this is a pretty accurate one for most valleys people, slang does depend on things like upbringing, but it's never too different
abit long I know, but you'd only have to listen to some of it. I was going to say this is offensive to them in the valleys innit but turns out its only a small exaggeration and not by that much mun

Is it bad i want to hear you speak now just to call you man-aya?
Haha, oh my gosh XD My voice isn't really feminine-sounding in my opinion. I remember doing my Welsh oral exam, and it had to be recorded; I cringed listening back to myself!

I... kinda do, a bit. Sometimes. My range varies.

Eh? *puzzled stare*
I kinda doubt that.

Funnily enough, trying to record a Scottish accent seems to amplify it for some reason! I know this first-hand from an old school pal recording a covert video which is now hopefully buried within her Facebook timeline. It sounds nothing like me, even though it is! I even asked if it does, but apparently not!

Fingers crossed...

I must find this video and bring it to the light of day! Don’t want it to happen? Join the cult!
