I do remember they did bath once or twice during filler, and early dragon ball had a bath scene, it was more about seeing the difference in the character's hygiene though.
there IS a shower scene in dragon ball, and it's hilarious

goku and bulma are camping in an RV in the desert, where yamcha lives, and he's found out about the dragonballs they have, he tries to peek in at what they're doing, where they would keep them etc. the window he's chosen is the bathroom, and he gets a full frontal view of bulma taking a shower. he's so bashful in dragonball seeing a naked woman is like knocking him out

He’s just a kid though, it’s not surprising he can’t handle what adult Goku can.

are you talking about goku losing control of his instant transmission? he's seen that s*** as a kid though, and he's kept more isolated then yamcha so he doesn't think twice about seeing a woman, I'd think.
also one of my favourite jokes in dragonball, goku finds out why laying on bulma's lap isn't the same as laying on grandpa gohan's

This actually made me laugh! The misunderstanding of which "balls" he meant XD
 
I don't want to turn this into the evening of DB s***posts, but this is goku not being bothered at seeing bulma naked as an adult. that comment though, and for the longest time he grew up with this girl!
and we sadly lost hiromi tsuru (bulma) last year. you would think they'd lose masako (goku) first, she's much older and well, always stuck doing a lot more work
