I must go north, a fry up awaits me...
I have said it's been better hete. A little bit warmer, but I know it's going to be a git for ice here

There will probably be some left to be fair. Mum puts it all in one of those trolly things that keeps it warm, so...help yourself.

Ah yeah, you had it worse for the snow to be fair, ice is the worst!

Of course! It's a much-needed break from all that "hard work". ;)

How's your day been?

Haha, glad you're well ^^

Not bad thanks dude. Managed to get another job application through the door. Workshop assistant for a textile company. Not really much given in the job description so, I thought I'd take a punt. They said "experienced" worker wanted; I've done bits and pieces with textiles over the years but nothing really technical.

Oh well, don't ask, don't get!

Good for you. :)

So, is that a couple you've got on the go now? That one and the interview?

That's right :) I feel as though I've been making a concerted effort, even if nothing comes of it, so...we'll see! The good thing about this textile one is that the business opens at 09:30, so if I were to get it it would be SUPER handy in terms of knowing I could get there on time via public transport until I can drive again!

But, nothing ventured...just got to keep trying!

Excellent.

Is the interview one an earlier start time then, or further away?

Excellent.

The one I have an interview for is only a couple of miles away, and easily accessible by bus, as for the start times, it could be anything between 08:30 and 17:00 since it's a contract for 20 hours.

Well, the mist has literally just melted away. It's ben here all day, and now I can actually see the houses beyond the green to the rear of our house!

Jesus, that's... a hell of a window. Would that suit you okay?

Well, those are the hours of the actual role, if I were to get it, so long as I'm available between 08:30 and 17:00, it's cool, I'm not really fussed as to how they actually allocate those 20 hours - I could be doing something like 10:00 - 14:00 for 5 days for example, or 11:00 - 16:00 over 4 days. I'm not entirely sure of how they'd do it, but it doesn't bother me really. Health Records department usually are open Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:00, so it's cool ^^

As for the interview itself, it's at 11:30, but I need to be there 15 mins before to do a small test (putting things into alphabetical order, determining which address from the examples given could be fraudulent, things like that). After that it's probably just a quick 15 - 20 mins of actual questions and whatnot, so, it's cool.

Interviews just don't phase me anymore, I've had so many of them I just don't even think too much about it!

Are employers finally realising thr6 can harness the power of the @~AyaMachi~ multitool?

The thing is I am kind of a multitool, I've had that many jobs in different sectors. I've been an embroidery machine operator (AKA Japanese torture), a large-format printer operator, a design assistant, data entry clerk, sales admin assistant, NHS admin, retail...I'm taking all the sectors by storm XD

Perhaps that's where I've been going wrong - I've been bashing down doors and yelling "employ me, PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!" :p

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

Tea's up, back soon! Bee good ;)
