It was so stupid, but in a goofy funny way XD The animation got me - "squigglevision" XD Just unlike anything I'd seen.

Does anyone remember Samurai Jack? I loved that show - the animation and cinematography were stunning, and somehow it worked with very little dialogue...

I also started with DBZ adverts haha, it's weird how those little things stick with you, who'd have thought that old ass adverts would have me nostalgic, not just toy adverts or ones for cartoons but even ones for the most random and uninteresting things imaginable, you know now that I think about it cereal ads are the most memorable! :p I spent so much time in front of the TV as a kid I guess seeing those ads just takes me back, I've lived in so many different houses, so much has changed. Seeing the date that the commercials aired is weird too, some things were a lot later than I remembered.

You know, a week ago I was actually looking at old argos catalogues from the 90's, man this all sounds so lame and I clearly have way too much time on my hands but looking at them just brought back memories, I guess it was also fun to see the prices of things I wanted back in the days too but even randomly flicking through the pages and noticing a clock we used to have brought back memories! People are so weird! :p

I spent so much time as a kid looking through them, I liked drawing when I was younger so it was a good way to draw things I guess, not having the internet and all that! That and I'd record cartoons on VHS and pause through them and sit there and draw from the TV, I mean how else was I supposed to get goku's super saiyan hair right?!

Literally what I used to do XD I'm not alone! I was always worried I'd bust the VHS player or something from constantly pausing and rewinding!

Same! Now this was when I was a lot younger and I'm honestly not sure if this actually happened or if it was a dream (nightmare?) but I remember when I was really young having a friend over and wanting to watch something on vhs and so I grabbed the tape (and unaware that the glass door was closed) I just smashed the whole thing trying to put the tape in, I still think about it to this day :confused:

I'm feeling the nostalgia talking of VHS and old cartoons. Looney Tunes was always a fave! I remember I used to record episodes of Aladdin when it was on Diggit. Pretty sure I used to record The Animals of Farthing Wood when it was on the Beeb too; it was my favourite series as a child. I collected the magazines of the show too!

Oh man, running out of tape and then just finding any old video casette to chuck in and record stuff on XD

Duuuuuuuuuude, I was literally thinking about old argos catalogues the other day! Walking past the high street and saw an argos and got me thinking! Also walked past where the old woolworths used to be (no one still ain't open up shop there), man! High street on a Saturday used to be amazing as a kid. I remember going to West Brom high street almost everyweek with my pops, eating warm jacket potatoe for lunch ahhhhhhh!

I also the other day searched up old telewest on wayback machine hahaha, Virigin Media were doing something in the house and it got me thinking aha.

In year 5 I went to a friends halloween party and got a plastic bat toy, I still have it to this day, it is my desk draw aha, just brings back so memories, a single toy takes me so back. Months ago, my little brother came to me and was like is this yours and he was holding a GBC copy of Pokemon Red I was like "ahhh holy where did you get that from!!!!" Dunno where he found it but maaaaan I was greatful aha. I thought that was lost in the abyss.

Dude! That came on TV not too long ago! My little brother was like this is lame, I was like what get out of here hahaha.
