The Evangelion thread

Both of those series are excellent and rather prescient, he is quite the creative indeed and I can only hope that he keeps making more thought-provoking series. And yes, Anno's overarching presence with Eva sadly takes the spotlight off of the excellent team who put it together, I can't imagine it being the same without all the creatives involved. One of my favourite early episodes from Eva (that I cannot remember the exact name/episode number for) I recall reading about and finding out came out the way it did because the rest of the team convinced Anno to make significant changes to. Definitely easy to forget what a team effort making media such as anime is.
