I cant remember what it does but someone pointed out to me that ctrl+F5 is a more complete refresh or something.
Reloads all the images again, because the pictures where under the same link you were seeing the old one, but ctrl+F5 reloads so it is totally refreshed.

Something along those lines.

ctrl+F5 is reload ignoring any cache. You can also set you browser to never cache anything, but it make the browsing experience a bit slower, specially if you are not on broadband or your broadband it not that broad...
