Overseas The Aniplex Thread

In all of the 26 years I've been collecting and watching anime I've only gotten 5 releases from aniperplexing and those were either on sale or used. I simply will not pay the outrageous prices they extort from buyers.

You should get the Brotherhood sets - such a great series! You need to build up that Aniplex collection of yours a bit! :)

I think I have about 175 Aniplex titles from both Aniplex of America and Aniplex of Japan currently in my collection, and there are still about 6 more AoA releases I need to purchase as of now, including the just announced Monogatari Off & Monster Season above.

I should, but Crunchyroll US doesn't ship to my country and I've heard eBay is full of bootlegs when it comes to this set.
 
Well I set up Stackry but I see Crunchyroll won't accept Paypal for it, perhaps this is because its a pre-order so I suppose I should wait until the blu-ray is actually out.

Strange as I've used PayPal on pre-orders with my Stackry address.

Are you making sure that the delivery and billing are different. As in your billing address matches your PayPal while your delivery address matches your Stackry address.

It didn't give me the option at all, it was just credit card or gift card.

EDIT: Changing my billing address on crunchyroll US is impossible as UK isn't an available country option sadly.

I decided to check again and see that Paypal is now accepted. Though now I have a new problem, I go through the checkout process but when I click on Place Order it just takes me back to the review screen. I don't think this is a Stackry problem though as this isn't the first time I have had issues with Crunchyroll payment. Just trying to resubscribe to them normally either through Paypal or card will randomly decide not to work. I wonder if they don't like Firefox or something...

The player for their streaming service certainly doesn't. When they still had the free service years ago I used the site pretty often, and it seemed like every time they updated their player it stopped working in Firefox, then weeks or months later it'd randomly start working again. Eventually, it never worked in Firefox for me.
