No i got the standard dvd region 4 version,i still havent made the jump to blue ray yet,but now i dont need to watch my old vhs copy anymore lol,still really glad i,ve now got it on dvd as it is one of my alltime faves. :D

Of course I wanted the HD version. I have a PS3 for a reason, and it certainly ain't for the games lol. Plus it'll look nice as the centrepiece to my collection blu ray collection =]

Only set me back £20, which is pretty good considering the scarcity of it. Jin-roh and Yukikaze blu-rays are the next on my OOP and Rare anime list!!!

'Tis not the image rendering 'tis the decryption that's the problem on a PC. Graphics should be done by GPU not CPU.
BD DRM is horrible, I thought you had to rip the .ts to your PC to play them, as on the fly decryption was too demanding.
