Went to Livingston for the first time yesterday and the Waterstones there supplied me with:

Sakura Hime 10
Alice in the Country of Clover 2
and from the bargain bin came Dolls 2-4 (an old Viz shojo series)

Edit: and today I went to Forbidden Planet and got Kisses, Sighs and Cherry Blossom Pink, Sleeping Moon 1 and Alice in the Country of Clover - Ace of Hearts.

Nope, nothing at all. Same staff, same stock (Excluding Manga and UK discs), ships from the same place.
As you noted, only difference is pricing and the fact that you cannot checkout with Paypal.
Most items are cheaper on the US site.
