But the LE version is cool...

And the blu-ray contains extra mini-episodes. And the mini-episodes are pretty good for season two!

im sure the LD is cool but i have season 1 region 2 but haven't seen it yet, dose the sengoku basara season 1 region 2 have mini episodes. if not il get both sengoku basara season 1 and 2 LE instead next time

The blu-ray versions contain extra mini episodes for the English language versions for some reason. So if you have the R2 DVD version you'll be missing four mini episodes, and season two will be the same. They aren't that incredible, especially as the season one mini episodes are about characters who barely appear in the anime, but if you want everything you'll need the blu-ray or combo sets.

In the process of checking my facts I went to Manga UK's site and found no information at all about the original release, argh.

^_^ leave it to RUI, thanks alot il defo get both LE of sengoku now.

It's pretty ridiculous that Play.com don't seem to realise it isn't coming out, unless they've made a mistake and typed "3-5 days" instead of "3-5 years". Also, it doesn't say much about how well everything below Disappearance is doing if they're being outsold by something that doesn't exist...

Yeah, I'm interested in knowing what happens with an order from the new DevotedDVD, due to being less confident ordering from them than I was about 3 Months ago or so!

My Kaiba arrived the other day from Devoted DVD pretty quickly with no charge on it, for what it's worth. I hope the actual Madoka disc is flawless (logically it would be the same disc as the US, but logic doesn't seem to come into anime company decisions often).

It did occur to me five seconds after confirming my order that perhaps I should've waited to see if anyone reported issues with the disc before doing so, but like you say, it's probably the same disc as the US and should be fine. Should.

High School Of The Dead from HMV (in-store)

Was considering buying Fairy Tail from there, but seeing the online price has gone up and now matches the price on the shelves.

Orders on new DevotedDVD seem to be fine. I got Kaiba/Genius Party/Irabu's Office sent and no import tax paid. They're now sending via Deutsche Post (rather than Royal Mail) but since it's still going direct into an EU service I think it means you should never pay any import duties.

Pretty pleased with Siren and Madman releases so far too. Thinking about Madoka but might wait to see if Manga say anythign else about their release. I'm in no huge rush to own it.

On a related note, I have yet to be 'stung', as it were, by any R4 purchases. (That said, through frugality I have yet to be stung by anyone.)

I've got the premium editions of Katanagatari and Arakawa under the bridge. The NIS limited editions are awesome, on pair with the amazing special editions Beez used to release.
Also managed to get a lot of bargains at Kitacon this weekend =)
