got gunslinger girls season 2 and naruto volume 5 today

Did Gunslinger Girl S2 have the OVA, or was it just the two series discs?

haven't opened it yet but,
it says 13 episodes o nthe dvd case two discs and i dont see anything in the extras but at the bottom it says special running time 35, so it might be im not sure

No would have surficed, it's 15 eps if it has the OVA.
The DVD (textless OPs/ED and 5 2 minute shorts) extras are 37 minutes, 35 sounds right for PAL

well i didn't know, besides i bet theres going to be a few people on here saying ( why didn't they have the ovas with second season ) iwish they did put the ovas with the second season

Because they count as a seperate license.
They're an actual OVA not just DVD only specials for the TV series.

The thing is that I only got the two series check discs for review, and when I e-mailed Manga about it, they said that they were going to release the OVAs separately. But they may have changed their mind.

Still 22 mins of extras at that playtime, so should be complete.
They've got this wrong before, like with Negima?!
Should still be able to tell by reading the back of the actual packaging.
