For those who aren't already aware, this is another great movie from Park Chan-Wook- a director famous for last years ultra violent revenge flick Old Boy. I've got all of his movies on DVD and well, this is up to his fine standards.

I really love this, I saw it at the cinema a few months ago. All three of the "Revenge Trilogy" are amazing!!! The cameo appearances are GREAT too!!!

Park Chan Wook is possibly the best director at the moment, I allready imported the korean dvd but it didn't have any special features so I'll definetly be picking this up, it was an amazing movie!

Ordered, cheers for the heads-up! :D

I'm ashamed to say I haven't seen any of the trilogy yet so this is my first step in rectifying that. The postcards look really nice too.

Have you seen his part of the Three Extremes film? I haven't found it available on a site that doesn't require credit cards yet...

I wonder why they seem to have dropped the 'Sympathy For' from the dvd title, odd, anyways I did enjoy this movie and all the trilogy if enjoy is the right word! Oldboy's twist is SO good, absolutely shocking.. no wonder the dude cut his own tounge out

It's a weird change; when I went to see Lady Vengence at the local art house, it was definitely being billed as "Sympathy for...". I actually prefer the full title, it's more comical and sarcastic than simply "Lady Vengence".

Incidently, I haven't actually seen Three Extremes... yet, though importing looks like a fine option if I want to complete my Park Chan-Wook collection!

If you like Park Chan-Wook's movies Id reccomed checking out "A Bittersweet life" its an awesome movie, its out at the end of this month (that is if you haven't all ready seen it :D)

"A Bittersweet Life" is pretty good, I'd also recomend "R-point" but it's a war/horror so not related much.

R-Point was allright I suppose, nothing to write home about mind you, but the new movie by Takeshi Kitano "Takeshis'" Is great in my opinion, watched it yesterday, I'd read quite alot of bad reviews and I can't see what all the bad press was about, I thought it was fantastic.

Really looking to Park's upcoming project "Im a cyborg but its ok" How can it not be genius? And I heard after that hes going to do a vampire movie which is apparently going to be his darkest movie yet, considering how dark the revenge trilogy was I cant bloody wait!

Dvd popped through the letterbox this morning, good old Play.com they never fail to send things early, going to watch it in a few hours probably.

Same here - my copy arrived this morning too. I'm now looking forward to cracking open a nice cold beer and sitting down with my old man to watch it later tonight.

Lol I just watched it with my dad too, I force him too watch them, even though I've seen it before it was still as hard hitting, its a damn masterpiece I say.
