Looks like they're desperately trying to get people to subscribe to Animax. All I can say is good luck to anyone who uses it.
There's still no way I'd touch it, free or not.

I've noticed that Crunchyroll have opened up 480p resolution for non-subscribers (with ads of course), so thing are now TV quality, which is nice.

Ouch. Crunchyroll doesn't have Sailor Moon Crystal for the UK.

Has a UK simulcast been announced yet? Please don't tell me it's Animax.

I'm gonna guess it's because of Viz Media USA. Every title they have has been blocked from the UK (excluding Bleach and Naruto Shippuden).

Looks like Animax UK may be likely (they do have more incoming).

Bugger off, Animax. Looks like I'll be downloading SM then as I bet they can't even manage a simulcast with episodes only every 2 weeks :roll:

I sincerely hope this doesn't mean the eventual physical release in the UK will be by Kaze (although I hope they go and die in a fire as well, preferably before this is released), although it most likely will be. One for the import list then.

Being able to access US Crunchyroll is such a nice side effect of being able to access US Netflix.

Crunchyroll's Summer section is now up, we have 17 continuing titles and 10 (+3 catalog) unknown titles left to fill.

Also, just looked up the publisher for Sailor Moon Crystal on the main show's page, it's F***ING TOEI ANIMATION. No wonder we didn't get access to the series, this is One Piece and Toriko all over again. If Assassination Classroom ends up being animated by Toei I won't be surprised if we don't get access to the show when Crunchyroll picks it up.

Agreed. I don't know what I'd do without that connection, saves me a lot of effort and irritation.

This may be a stupid question but have you guys heard of 'hola unblocker' if you use a chrome of firefox browser or if you use an xbox 360 or PS3 changing your DNS code to get US crunchy and Netflix...

"Well f'k, guys, we've been kicked off the cool boat but at least this rat encrusted barrel will sever us" (untill that gets full, then it's body time for mr. Wallet.)

And let's not even go into what'd happen if Animax got its tendrils on it. The net has enough images of Sailor Moon being brutalised without Sony making an industry of it.

Best we can hope for is that Andrew has it for Wakanim and that looks unlikely because that's a nice thing and that's not allowed on our little island of hate.
