Started making this today. I think I might put a weather thing under the clock.

I'm fine with the default style for the boxes on the left until I find a better one.

And, I might stick a RocketDock or something in the bottom right.

What's the point of having a clock on your desktop? You already have one in your taskbar. In fact, why would you need any of that information on your desktop?

Well, generally, the idea is to customise the whole thing. So, maybe replacing the taskbar with Rocket Dock.

There was an awesome one a few pages back, but I can't find it.

It also has animated icons and fan out icons like the mac. Completely customised the entire windows and cursors but am to lazy at the moment to show

Whoa, that's a Windows desktop that you've customized yourself? Blimey.

I haven't yet changed the wallpaper on my new machine to anything other than one of the preset Aero ones ("scenes", although it's more arty than the name would suggest). It's quite nice though, so it will stay for a short time.
