I just picked a quart-sized container of strawberries from the berry patch that is spreading out in the upper level of my back yard. There's way too many ripe ones for me to pick now, and when I climbed up there to start picking them, of course it started to rain, so I quick picked one container full and ran back down to the house with a wet t-shirt! I hope my man-boobs weren't showing through, lol! 
I'll try to pick some more tomorrow... My mother loves to eat these cut up on strawberry shortcake cups, with milk and sugar...

This was on the 23rd but this is what I had for my works Christmas meal.
Battered cauliflower florets with sweet chilli sauce
Festive pie (turkey, gammon, pigs in blankets and stuffing) with mustard mash and red cabbage.
Boozy apple, sultana and cinnamon crumble with brandy cream.
It was very yummy.

I would guess those are brussel sprouts on your plate and not something else exotic, lol - I just made fresh brussel sprouts at home a few weeks ago, first I've had them in probably 30 years, and they were pretty good.
