Simulwatch again?

Thank you :) Alas, my attempts at switching editing software (thought it would make it easier to work with the 1080 footage) could not have come at a worse time, and I'm struggling to get used to the new program. Edit is about half done at the moment - fingers crossed it'll be up by saturday night at the latest.
 
Well, I look forward to seeing this. First three eps of Bebop weren't the most amazing, if I remember. They were slightly shallower introductions. I look forward to your evaluation of its various sections.
 
Yeah, watching the footage through, I don't think we had as much to say about 2 and 3 as we did with the first one.

Anyhow, the video is basically edited, but alas we decided to use an external audio recorder and I'm still trying to sync up the sound at the moment - may take a little longer.
 
Well that took far longer than I had hoped. The switch to editing on kdenlive was fraught with peril, I didn't get my fancy titles done in time and the music is just copyright-free samples, but nevermind - it's done. And people will now have to deal with what I actually look like...

oh, very cool. I'll have to watch it some other time though when I'm not literally about to conk out.

Love the jacket though prof, looking very dapper! Also love that voice, I could listen to you talk all day......

Oh, the content? I'll have to check it properly later. What I will say is that I was expecting some funky graphics or pyrotechnics to justify the visual format, so that's something to work on for your next video.
 
Thanks chaps :) I was a bit concerned the threads might make me look like Dr Who, but otherwise we would all have just been wearing black shirts, and I think we might have looked like some kind of bowling team...

Confidentially, I wasn't too happy with the titles either. I've got at least one better idea in mind though, so hopefully it'll be ready for the next episode.

I was hugely disappointed when Ken shaved his beard in the FotNS movie. It ruined my illusions of manly grandeur...

As for the titles, I quite like the whole Law and Order Anime thing it has going on.

Still too tired to watch it right now though, but next time!
 
Short notice, and a two cour show, so I don't expect anyone to jump at the chance, but I will be rewatching Last Exile over the next couple of weeks if anyone wants to watch along. I will make a thread and post in it "anyway", so hopefully there will be some discussion even if just from people remembering the show.

Probably going to watch an ep or two tonight, then quite a few over the next couple of days, then none over the weekend because of R3play, then a more even pace from Monday onwards.

More than happy to watch it alongside you and fortunatly I've got no coursework or exams to get in the way! I bought the collection from ADV when they brought it out and I've yet to watch it, despite the fact that it gets good reviews. My posts might be a little late though as the only proper dvd player that isn't attached to a broken tv can only be accessed sometimes at night.

I'll also struggle to watch some this weekend, going to London on saturday for the Distant Worlds FF concert and then to watch us lose to Birmingham for most of sunday. So I'll likely do the same and watch two episodes or something.
 
I have never seen Last exile, so would love to watch it along with some of you now. However me being me I know better then pretending like I will be able to keep up with the pace of watching episodes consistently. But if I can I probably will.

If you said you were starting next week I might join in. As it is I'm part way through Black Cat, Oreimo and Soul Eater (Blu-ray) so I want to finish those off first so I'll probably give this a miss (don't want to be a disc or 2 behind everyone else).
 
The very shexy Range Murata thinpak set has been sat on my shelf for what seems like years, so I may use this opportunity to finally watch the thing. I rented the first couple of discs a loooong while ago but got bored and never finished it.
 
Well, I'll probably start the thread later today anyway, and you can see how far I/anyone else has got by the time you have a chance. Who knows!
