SFX Anime Special 30th July+ Free FMA Brotherhood 2 Ep DVD

The next issue of SFX will be an Anime Special which will include a cover mounted DVD contain the first 2 Episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. They mention there will also be other goodies in store but they keeping them secret for now.

The Magazine will be on sale on the 30th July.

That's the cover of a previous edition (one I don't have it seems) but both the ones I do were priced £5.99 so unless their prices have increased lately it should be the same.

Just in case anyone forgot about this, it is in the shops today. It costs £7.99. As well as the already confirmed dvd, it also comes with a double sided Totoro/Ponyo poster & 6 badges.

A double sided poster eh, cool! i can use that to cover my harry potter wallpaper along with the other posters i bought :twisted: and the dvd's a cool adition too.

Before you get too excited, sadly the UK version doesn't include the GitS magnets. Tipped the balance against buying it for me. I had a look today in the newsagents (well, as good a look as you can have at a magazine sealed in a cardboard box) but eight quid for a magazine is ludicrous anyway.

I bought the magazine friday and i was RIPPED OFF!

You get 6 Really small badges and 2 of mine were dented. theres not much to read about its mostly just crap about studio Ghibli. Anyone thinking of buying, this i would think twice. Or actually just nick the Fullmetal alchemist dvd which was great btw.

I kinda have to agree with you there...

The DVD was cool but the magazine was lacking.
