Ubuntu is ultra fast, and there are some really awesome features like how you can have two desktops. It's just annoying to me that loads of programs don't work in it and I have to dual boot up vista or whatever if I need one of them. Also, I had to type in this huge command in the terminal just to get my modem to connect to the internet. If it wasn't for that I'd use it. It has some really awesome effects, too.
Through general browsing i've noticed connecting to the internet to be a huge problem for quite a few people who are on a Wireless network
I'm not trailing an ethernet cable from my bedroom, downstairs and through the living room just for Ubuntu either
Oh dear oh dear, what tragedy
anyhow if i tried linux again id rather have a separate system for that, i partitioned my laptop HDD for that..what a pain
anyhow some of those effects or baisc installed features, but to say get a it working on cube thats Beryl and im sure the other features are found on other repositories
or you could always buy Lindows, which is Unix backend
