Hi!

Well, I'm sorry but the last scenes of PPP were wayyy too paedophilic for a girl like me - half-yuck then, I did enjoy some of it. ES is great.
 
Though i sat there stareing with the jaw open first time through, repeated showing ain't so funny. Its not got either the dragonhalf mania, or the Excel saga character charm. of course it has some great moments (Luuuuve barbcue makes me crack up, as does everything involving nabeshin) with hindsight it needed to be a 4 part OVA at least.

Of course, it pushes the line far to much at times, but its not as pure funny as dragonhalf.

How many Episodes did they do coz i only have one Video!
Its the one where mink joins that tornement and stuff and the king sent that guy mink loves to kill her or somehtink
 
Puni puni poemy was ok, but not as good as excel.

some of it was a bit too wierd, the aliens were the best bit

still its a good laugh
 
I'd listen to the comentary track - its even funnier than the programme! :shock: :D

Incidently, i have reapraised it somewhat, and generally, the first episode, and the first half of the second are great stuff all round. it gets a bit too off the wall towards the end of the second episode though.

I think it faces stiff competition on the bizzareness stakes from 'dead leaves' however, which takes its place in my unholy triology of short and completely freaked out anime (Dragonhalf, Puni, and now that)
 
Of course its never going to be as good as Excel Saga, its only a 2 episode spin off. And yes, the commentary is just as funny as the anime, the ADV staff are hilarious bunch.
 
Just watched it, very weird and funny, but not sure about replay value other than for watching the expressions of people who haven't seen it before.
I see what someone I know meant when they said "...and all of the stuff they couldn't put in the TV series they put into PPP..."
 
Paedophile rubbish!!! How can u watch this and live!!! Still I liked ep. 01 but seriously...I dont know how this one made it to UK...

Yes i can see why it would be banned in new zealand but the commentary is the funniest thing on it lol

i was in stitches when that came up. i know they stole it from pink floyd, but to steal it twice, great stuff. :lol:
 
I don't know how any of you can even listen to the commentary. Most of ADV's female staff have incredibly irritating voices. :X
