PS3 and 360

I've been considering it.....i just.....don't like the failure rate that the xbox seems to pride itself on.
like a little joke in the company: "haha oh yeah remember the towel and red circles problem?? thats a good joke"

if Microsoft could bring their general standards near to the sony marker for reliability then i'd buy one. i just don't like buying things i know are going to crash on me lol

haha well, i guess they tried to fix it

released the 360.....erm damn its got the same problems as the xbox
retested and behold! the 360 premium.........damn.....only fixed it slightly....

back to the drawing board

also what i find funny
Sony decided to use blueray
Microsoft decide to use HD

Sony brought out the PSX which was HD about 3 years ago.... xbox = fail

:p

The PS3 was utter rubbish when it was first released, it had NO games whatsoever. its on its feet now and holding strong though I have to admit

I do prefer the xbox though, the layout is better, the PS3 layout is basically a PSP, and I did'nt like that much. And I like the achievement system for the 360, im hooked

:thumb:

I guess its just down to what people first bought.
i mean, if someone buys a xbox and anothe person buys a ps2 it'd be harder to imagine them buying the other companies latter console.

the Xbox 360 reminds me of a book.
and yeah the XMB was first released on the psp and im glad they brought it out on the ps3, its easy to use :p

Actually what i find funnier is that while Microsoft released an external HDD drive they never supported HD-DVD the same way that Sony supported Blu-Ray (i.e. The player was never built into the console) In fact Microsoft made a smart buisness desicion for once and decided to play it safe, and it worked out for them, as now whenever they want they can just release an external Blu-Ray player, so everyone wins :p Oh and the PSX never really did that well if i recall correctly, but then again the japanese hate the Xbox anyway :p

In my view they are just as good as each other, they both have good points, they both have bad points and my Xbox has never broken *touch wood* so hardware failure isn't a problem for me

Actually as a game developer i must learn to be impartial as i won't be able to afford saying stuff like "well i'm not going to work on this game because i hate the console" :p Besides as everyone knows by now i'm waiting for a specific game before i buy a PS3, plus if i can find one at a price like McIcy got his at i won't be complaining :p
