Prepare to be Intrigued: Inception Trailer

What's up with the people still motivated to see Airbender? By all accounts, its the worst film made in the last twenty years.

Also, ending discussion? It stopped, the world was real. The kids were older (even played by different/older actors). The screen just cut-to-black before it fell. It's worth noting though that I liked the ending, whether it was a dream or not. Didn't really care enough either way. It was just a nice image to end on.

When the ending came up EVERYBODY groaned or laughed. Some people said you could read into it what you want, it just depends upon your outlook on life. I agree with you though, the totem does fall.

SEE INCEPTION!

Well I really want a sequel to this. I just pray it doesn't fall the hell off like The Matrix did.
I suppose this means Nolan has considered the prospect of a sequel? I'd love the explore that world and them ideas again, especially now that its all established. It'd be interesting if it slightly went into the fantasy playing field, because as much as I loved the realism of these dreams - some pink skies and flying pigs weren't amiss. However, this particularly story, in my mind, was wrapped up to perfection. I don't want a conclusive answer on anyone or anything else that happened. I'd never even thought about a follow-up story, until right now.

A sequel would be pretty good. This time they sacrificed most of the dialogue just to explain the rules.
Definitely the best film I've seen this year (and I've seen pretty much all the good ones, excluding comedy, romance, and horror).
Heard good things about The A-Team, so I wouldn't officially call it the best yet.

I watched it last night and I loved it. Mainley due to the idea being different and not really being able to compare it to anything else at the moment. Originality wins hands down imo. It's hard to talk about without letting something out. Best way to see the film is not knowing anything about it before hand. It's amust see for 2010.

I'm looking forward to the A-Team too but I'm not holding my breath for The Last Airbender. I've heard it's quite disapointing... especially to fans of the story.

I really loved it but am I the only one who doesn't seem to think it was that complicated. I saw it as quite simple just with complex layers added on and followed it really easily.

You know what I'm finding odd? I thought The A-Team got released and was been and done a couple of months back, but what? It's coming out now? I've been seeing them Orange adverts for ages. I've heard its pretty bad and somewhat disrespectful to the older show, so even though I'm not a fan, I shan't be watching that one.

I think it depends if you hang your life on every single word being said. I found the dialogue quite challenging to follow, even if the story is a relatively simple one.

I definately didn't find it complicated. I thought it was rather clear and it made sense which is why more people should be able to enjoy it. My misses is horrible for leaning over and asking questions during a film but I never got a peep from her (this is rare).
Besides the concept, I can't see this film being too hard to follow.

.

I think it was out in the US a while back, only just out in the UK

Finally saw this, easily as good as everybody had been saying. Agree with Jayme, the ending is just totally satisfying from an artistic point of view, the perfect way to end the movie.

As for the complexity, I think the overall narrative made an extremely large amount of sense (let's compare with, say, eXistenZ, where you have no clue what is happening), but there were aspects that were left somewhat vague in the details. Primarily why is Saito an extemely old man after his time in Limbo, whereas Cobb, who went to Limbo before Saito died, is still relatively young? Also the nature and timing of the synchronized "kicks" was a little off at times I thought.

I think it's cos Saito went deeper than Cobb. Cobb didn't get to the same level of limbo as Saito until Mal stabbed him, so while that was only a matter of minutes, due to the time dilation it was years for Saito. As for why the kicks needed to be synchronised I'm not sure I'd have to see it again

Yeah, I guess I kind of agree with that, it just wasn't particularly well illustrated imo, whereas everything else was explained pretty neatly.
