Prepare to be Intrigued: Inception Trailer

映画男!!!
Every so often I evangelise a film to friends and family. Sometimes I do it because the director is great, sometimes I do it because the film is great and I want to show support, rarely do I do it because a trailer blows me away buuuut… This looks EPIC!

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/66TuSJo4dZM&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/66TuSJo4dZM&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Directed by: Christopher Nolan (Memento, The Dark Knight, The Prestige and Insomnia (remake that I found better than the original)).

Leonardo DiCaprio (no introduction necessary), Ellen Page (Hard Candy – a painful experience) Gordon Joseph-Levitt (Brick, 3rd Rock from the Sun), Ken Watanabe (Letters from Iwo Jima) and Tom Hardy (Bronson)

JULY 16

This better not disappoint!

Yes! I'm very excited for this film. Been slowly following its progress for a while now and yeah, can't wait!

Also, its Joseph Gordon-Levitt and I find it strange you gave Ellen Page a credit for Hard Candy and not Juno. On that note, I do like Page but I can't help but be distracted by her in all the trailers so I'm hoping that disappears once I'm immersed in the actual film.

I'm considering it, the trailer has raised my awareness of it, but I'm not entirely sold yet. Plus I just can't get over how old Leo is now.

Follow simple flowchart to find out if movie is going to be good:

Is Leo in it? > Yes > Movie will be awesome.

The older Leonardo gets the better he acts and the wiser his choices in acting roles. If I had to be jealous of one man...

I gave Ellen Page a credit for Hard Candy because I've seen it (I was the only person in the screening room at the time). Haven't watched Juno so I'm not going to comment on it. Is it as good as the critics say?

Same thing with Joseph Gordon-Levitt who I watched in Brick (great film) and 3rd Rock From the Sun.

I don't know you well enough to say if you will like it. I personally love it, but that's because of several reasons, firstly my adoration of Diablo Cody's writing (United States of Tara rules!), the off-the-cuff pop-culture references and also Michael Cera with Jason Bateman is always going to be made of win. It entirely depends on your type of humour.

Too big to fail?

Consider me intrigued.

The dream manipulation side of it reminds me of Paprika, I just hope any twists at the end aren't as obvious as they have the potential to be (or they at least keep me guessing).

I'm torn between seeking new information on this film or keeping it a secret. Past experience has taught me to go dark and ignore the drip drip of information and wait until I've seen the film.

So here's some Inception mash-ups...

The only way I'll watch the latest Toy Story film.

The movie is so close and Ellen Page is on Friday night with Jonathan Ross next week.

This is how advertisement should be done!

Going by A LOT of reviews, it's well worth seeing and exceeds expectations... I'm looking forward to seeing this next week now :D

Epic...I beg to differ...speaking as a fantasy fan I'm holding out for Airbender 3D. But DiCaprio looks good, can you believe I had a dream last night vividly about snogging DiCaprio but wierdly enough, I don't fancy him that much.

What's up with the people still motivated to see Airbender? By all accounts, its the worst film made in the last twenty years.

Also, ending discussion? It stopped, the world was real. The kids were older (even played by different/older actors). The screen just cut-to-black before it fell. It's worth noting though that I liked the ending, whether it was a dream or not. Didn't really care enough either way. It was just a nice image to end on.
