The recommendations you gave actually feel spot on for what I would enjoy, so thank you again
My Happy Marriage has such gorgeous covers! It seems like something I'd enjoy and it's good to know that I could enjoy it as a single volume if I didn't like it enough to necessarily keep going. That takes a bit of pressure off.
Actually the more I hear about Bunny Girl Senpai (and it's spinoffs) the more intrigued that I become! I like that it seems to explore the psychology of it's characters, if I'm correct.
I have come across the Toradora ones in my search for the manga, I actually love those series so I'd definitely be tempted to check it out in future, for now I think I'd like to prioritise something new over something I already know the story of (as I've seen the anime and been reading the manga, it would be my 3rd time going over Toradora haha I love it though!). Bottom-Tier Tomozaki-kun also caught my eye but seemed like it could be very hit or miss based on the concept, good to know that you think it gets better
The Tales of Marielle Clarac actually sounds EXACTLY like the kind of thing I'd love to read, so I really hope it gets a physical print too. I've kinda fallen in love with the concept already after I read it! I feel that romances which are more female-orientated are a rather neglected market in the English light novel category as far as I've seen? (Not the Japanese one though, sooo many female-orientated light novels on Amazon JP that I've drooled over wanting haha) Besides BL, but that's a slightly different demographic. Romance fiction for women is eternally popular for a good reason. This one would be really nice and I'm also hoping for the Saviors Book Cafe light novel to come to English print too, I heard that one blew up a bit as a manga on TikTok so maybe it can start some waves in the market as I do feel it's heavily targetted towards male readers at the moment which is probably why I'm finding it so hard to get into.
Ascendance of a Bookworm has caught my eye as a manga before, I'm not much of an isekai person I admit but I've heard nothing but good things about it and I do like the concept!
Thank you again, I know my reply is long but I wanted to justify all the effort and thought you put into your recommendations with my own thoughts. I thought I'd mention some titles that I've been intrigued by, which is this one:
Modern Villainess: It's Not Easy Building a Corporate Empire Before the Crash (L ight Novel) Vol. 1 : Tofuro Futsukaichi : 9781638582090 I know, this one probably sounds really random from what I like, but the cover drew me in and I actually almost bought this one. I had it in my cart and everything. But then I realised, I had no idea if I'd like it or not. I typically actually enjoy the villainess concept and I liked the unique business-building concept, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be... too dry and technical? In the end, I didn't buy it.
And this one:
Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka which I'm intrigued by the concept but I really just cannot figure out what exactly it's about from the description and cover. (I know it has the genre romance tagged here but I'm not sure how heavily romantic it will be, also I'm not sure if it's going to be BL or straight romance as I have heard at least one person say that both the main character and the shut-in are guys? But then who is the girl on the cover? This is why I'm confused, lol)
Also finally this one:
The Male Lead Is Mine Vol. 1 (novel) : Kkamang Kkamang : 9781954707238 Which is a little different since it has a Korean origin (I think it's still a light novel, though?) and seems like isekai but I like that it appears female-orientated as a romance.
I know they're not all out yet but... Do you have any thoughts on these ones? Are you going to pick them up?
Basically... there's a lot of options I'm interested in, but it feels a little nervewracking to take the plunge ^^; Thank you for helping me out! Hopefully I can start a little collection of light novels in future.
