It'll be interesting to see if MVM releases Infinite Stratos on Blu-ray at some point (presumably not if they haven't done the first season, though they could do a collection or something later I suppose). It's on the list of shows I'd consider getting, though I'm not sure I'll get around to it what with that list constantly growing.
I'd maybe pick up Samurai Harem on a whim if I see it cheap, it does sound like the kind of thing I might enjoy as a lighter option. I'm not so keen to buy DVDs these days though, even if that's all that's available and there's a good reason for it.
