Yeah it's just a final version of Death with a few changes made. Both Death and EoE were shown together in their final forms as Revival of Evangelion in JP theatres.I'm assuming Evangelion: Death(true2) is Death and Rebirth, but with Rebirth cut out (it is a bit pointless if you have EoE) and Death extended a bit. Couldn't find too much about it with a search.
Separate licence, shouldn't affect it. Pretty crappy how Netflix have handled the casting though with the original cast only getting auditions after finding out they were taking place and complaining. So, I wonder what will happen with Evangelion 3.0+1.0. Will Funimation be able to complete the quadrilogy with their cast, or will Netflix now get the rights and use theirs?
Boy, my decision to upgrade my 1.11 and 2.22 to Blu-ray so they'd match the rest of my collection... really has not aged well.
Eh, worst case scenario people can rip the English audio off the DVDs and time it to BD rips. If someone hasn’t done that already.
More fool them, I guess.People pay like $60-100 for bootleg BDs with said rip.
