Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

I don't think they know what happens so there not official spoilers (apart from Harry Potter), but it's been universally accepted that snakes gonna die at the end.

As true as that is, Hideo has already said they were talking about a MGS5 though he may not be working on that one.

You guys are no fun. "OMG, NO MORE SPOILERS." Spoilers do a lot of good, they often kill the expectation you had incase the game/movie/anime, etc. is crap.

Hideo Kojima needs to get making ZoE:3.

Anyone noticed something on the first cut scene? When the 2 unmaned metal gear look-alikes that the boc they crush says "no place for hideo" :lol:

I guess that Raiden would be the main character of mgs5 then,

Also i've gotta say that my fav gadget on the new mgs is metal gear rex mk.2 its a load of fun to use, too bad it runs out of power after a while :/


Anyone played MGO yet?? if so how great is it?? and does anyone one who owns the game wanna join if someone makes a AUKN clan?

Just finished the game. Wow, the ending scene is about 45 minutes long :eek: but it ties EVERYTHING up quite nicely and well tight.

Vamp wasn't immortal, he was living on because of nanomachines and same with Big Boss who appears at the end of the game. If you aren't Zen 2nd and you read my spoilers it's your own fault.

I have a greater liking for Nintendo because I think the PS3 has very few decent games? Maybe I say the PS3 has very few decent games because I genuinely feel that way and am not a Nintendo fanboy? Don't be presumptuous. I have never said the PS3 sucks or anything along those lines. If you interpreted my post correctly, you'd realise I'd get a PS3 if there were enough decent games.

Question: I love metal gear, so should i trade in my wii and games to get a PS3 and Metal Gear (i would get other games later, so i wouldn't be trading in one console just to play 1 game)
 
You'd lose out on quite a bit of money if you were to trade in your Wii and games, yes MGS 4 is a really good game but I wouldn't recommend trading in a console to get another console unless you are completely bored with the Wii.
 
We just got MGS4. Haven't touched it yet myself but partner is playing it right now and it looks good fun.

Funny how the consoles this generation divide everyone. We have a PS3 and a Wii in my house. The PS3 is used every day and the Wii hasn't actually been switched on since the week Mario Galaxy came out...different games for different folks' taste I guess. We don't have any Xbox consoles still because the game I'd want most on them is DoA Extreme - yeah.

Though partner wants SB Brawl when the UK one comes out so the Wii might stop gathering dust again, hopefully.

I use my first gen DS all the time so any Sony fangirl comments are ignored in advance.

Completed Mgs4 over the weekend.

Not going to spoil it for anyone, but the mgs team have wrapped that game up brilliantly :thumb:

Hope you all enjoy the game.

Now its all about dominating mgo :D

Well it took me 18 hours to do, which I did over 2 days.

Depends on how quick you go through the levels.
each act had to be downloaded and was rather long in terms of "levels"
So no, i wouldn't call it short.

Most likely the latter...

MGS3: Snake Eater took me 5 days to complete... (with breaks and stuff)

So since this is the longest MGS out of them all (according to reviewers), it will take me more than a week =P
 
i purchased a ps3 for the sole reason of playing mgs4.
(bought it 2 weeks ago)
and i finished MGS4 on the weekend. and oh my god...what a game. Its an MGS fans dream.
i would like Hideo Kojima to make more Metal Gear games, but its good that he ended it, otherwise it would get too out of hand.
i wonder what he will make next......would be cool if he did a remake of policenauts or Snatcher....not many people have played these before and those that have are saying good things.
