Actually that's where you would be wrong, legit merch is much better quality that the fake stuff you can instantly tell the difference.
You use the word 'probably' so I'm guessing that you haven't really bought anything legit.
Trust me there is a massive difference, at least legit gets the colours right -unlike some bootleg I've seen- and as ayase said original creators or manufactures. Id rather pay more for quality and have the money go some where it should not to some one is China that sells fakes to mugs or people that just don 't care
-sorry little rant over-
Shiroi Hane said:Good heavens no. Manga doesn't even own Manga (they're part of Starz, which is American). Neo is Uncooked Media.
Manga is simply the biggest UK anime company right now. Would you be surprised at FUNimation walking about with a majority of awards if this was a US mag?
Those titles are aimed at men, so she's right. You're misunderstanding something.ayase said:Rui said:Er, it's one title (Hetalia being the manga version). Perhaps Neo magazine has "alienated men", since it was voted for by fans, but I don't see a company which is putting out titles like Strike Witches and Dance in the Vampire as particularly shunning one particular gender.Reaper gI said:Will this get manga to realise they've almost totally alienated men as an audience??Rui said:Strike Witches and Dance in the VampireIf you say so Rui... ;PRui said:

However, rather than questioning the system and comparing it to a Japanese anime high-school girl who also refers to themselves in the third person, Joshawott let it slide.
In my defence. using just the word "men" isn't obvious as to what the joke is. My bad for not getting it though. :roll:ayase said:Okay, I'm going to start formatting my posts like this from now on:

ayase, as someone who was not a fan of cutesy loli fan-service shows, decided to take a light-hearted jab at it's fans by questioning their manhood. "If you say so Rui" he said with a grin. The shows did not appeal to him, and he was a man.
Maxon however didn't notice the smiley ayase had added, both winking and sticking it's tongue out to denote how not serious his comment was. Or perhaps he did and was calling ayase out for not taking the discussion seriously enough or because he didn't find his comment amusing. ayase didn't know.
