So nothing about new Lupin III on DVD... damn. I actually went looking for the DVD on the day Amazon said it would be released. I should have known better.kurosaki86 said:Well the latest mangazette email came today and it does confimr the death note license; but nothing other than that and the fact that amazon and play jumped the gun and that they will announce dates soon.

Oh No, Not the one calling them Mangle and constantly having a spac about what they do, No. Definitely not. Its all to blame on the Evangelion <3'r that hasn't done anything negative in this thread, Yet.Aion said:Someone has to take the blame for the Mangle representative doing a runner... I'm sorry Citizen, you're it.

Oh No. ;/ You fail, Aion.
Maltos said:I love how you said "derailed"~ An awesome word to describe the thread; though i think the lack of the supposed 'representetive' is what has really led you it's derailment.

It shouldn't be judging by the release of Bleach, but we won't really know for sure until it's out.ryuzaki said:God I hope Death Note isn't dubtitled like some of their other stuff...

No, what is being referred to is the time in fairly recent history where Manga started creating the subtitles for the Japanese language track based upon the English dub, which other than being wholly inaccurate in most cases also provides lots of cases where nobody is saying anything in Japanese but subtitles appear and conversely somebody is speaking in Japanese but no subtitle appears to translate. As you can imagine that is rather frustrating if you prefer to watch in Japanese but do not have enough knowlege of the language to get by. Manga have, by all accounts, stopped this practice for new releases (since about Bleach vol 1) after numerous complaints.Dan said:ryuzaki said:God I hope Death Note isn't dubtitled like some of their other stuff...
Why don't they just do it like MVM, coz you can turn there's off and for people like me who like them on I can have them
Everyone is happy
Not in the slightest, But the cover looks really good. I shall be getting this one as you recommended it and if I recall correctly, It is the first Lupin movie or something. I'm sure you can correct me. The Lupin dub I heard for Castle of Cagliostro was actually very good - Granted not on par with the Japanese seiyuu but I would still be very happy that another Lupin film is getting a release, Regardless of the subtitle quality.Sy said:Does anyone know if this is even out this week?
Yep this is the first of five feature films and in my opinion the best of the best. It's my absolute favourite Lupin film and goes really high on my list of favouite films ever, it's just pure entertainment with Lupin at his sleazy best (something that I missed from Cagliostro).Jayme said:Not in the slightest, But the cover looks really good.
