Low system requirements games for the PC?

Diablo II should run and it's brilliant!

I heard about it and was tempted. However, Dawn Of War takes over my life when it comes to PC Gaming, that and linking up with some mates on Battlefield 2142. Epic wins to be had.

I don't like games I have to think too much =P Therefore all strategy games are no good for me ... I did like to play Go though, but I've never managed to pass 16 Kyu... It's beeen a long time since I last played...

:lol: Dawn Of War is great. And btw, I noticed you edited your post, I tried NWN and hated it. But I can run that EASILY man :lol:

And yeh, again, get Dawn of War, use that brain. Its epic fun to be had, even in just comp-stomps.

I second Dawn of War plus you can get it quite cheaply now with the impending Dawn of War 2 coming out soon

If you get DoW I'd seriously consider investing in a tiny bit more RAM. It's really cheap and will help a lot.

NWN1 was such a good idea cursed with bugs and a horrific interface that must have been designed by someone who hates all PC gamers. I found the interface hurt the experience a lot but the D&D elements are fun and it has (had?) a huge online community working with free mods and online campaigns which was nifty.

NWN2 had a stupidly high minspec for what it ended up looking like and didn't set my world afire. I'd skip that one unless you get NWN and love it, and get a better PC down the line.

This talk of NWN just reminded me...Baldurs Gate, personally i found it better then NWN and your PC should run it without a problem...good luck finding it mind, i'm still searching for Baldurs Gate 2

...erm....no you're thinking of Dark Allaince, Baldaurs Gate was an RPG made by Bioware, it was the fore runner to NWN a good story, a nice character creator, Dark Allaince was just a hack and slash.

Well i never tried the mmorpg though i've heard various things about that as for the spinoff game it was called Champions of Norrath and just wasn't that good a game

Hey, don't know if anyone has mentioned this before and Maple Story is a relatively easy to run MMORPG. The game is 2D so most computers have no trouble running it.

I'm going to try out WoW. I should be able to run a private server for myself while I'm offline to my local host with mysql. And, also I'll try private servers for free. If it runs smoothly, then I'll buy it and play on retail servers. Also, I'll be getting a new pc in a few months ;d.

Uh, yeah. You basically host a server through local host (127.0.0.1) with either mANGOs or ascent. You sort out passwords and your WoW files in program files then you change the realm lists around to your own local. It's tricky to do, but in a while I should have it all setup.

And yes, everything works normally. All the npc's will be there and I can do quests, etc. Hopefully after a while I should be able to make some bots so that there will be some bots to play with me! And yes, I will be by myself (Which is better because then I wont be lagging loads on my connection (I have mobile broadband so at times I'll just suddenly disconnect / my ping will shoot up to 20,000ms, etc. :/)).

Indeed, all games listed there are very sweet, I miss Deus Ex.
