London expo

I've go my tickets for both days =) see you guys there!!
I've seen that the doors opens at 9ish, so we meet in Monument at 8? some are arriving the day before, I guess, isn't it?

Elijah Wood and Craig Charles have just been announced for the October con. I met Craig Charles there last time and asked Linda Hamilton a question during her talk, and I got a Laughing Man t-shirt with some Sound Village Naruto bands and a ton of DVDs.

I just ordered my ticket too, early entry for the Saturday. I've still yet to listen to the CDs I got in my goody bag from last time, I think they were samplers for Square Enix games.

Got all my tickets and arrangements made now!Unfortunatley my original plan to cosplay as Roy Mustang fell through,so instead I'll be attending as a character from a popular old-ish series that desperatley needs a UK release!(hint)I'll let you all know once everything is put together this week in case anyone wants to say hi!^_^

If I buy an advance ticket now, would it be most likely to arrive on time?

Usually the answer to this question would be trivial, but certain Royal Mail employees don't want to keep their side of the deals their company makes with its customers...

If you or they have a London postcode and they use Royal Mail, I wouldn't bank on it. I covered our despatch manager's complaints mailbox last week and even Special Delivery ("guaranteed next day before 1pm") packages were taking over a week. First class and Recorded items can easily pass a month :(

Stupidly if you can get them to send it way out of London to someone else, you may have more of a chance of it getting there in time instead of sitting in the queue.

Apparently tickets will take 10-14 days to arrive and those of us going to the evening party can expect to recieve the party tickets via email.^_^Will there be any kind of meetup inside the convention hall because unfortunatley I won't be able to get to the monument for 8 since I'll only be arriving in London at half past lol!

I've decided to buy tickets on the day again.
If I had to choose between queueing and risking not receiving the advance ticket on time, I'd opt for the former.

Even if you were to order them and not recieve them on time, all you have to do is print out your confirmation and bring it with you.My friend lost his tickets last year and all we needed was his confirmation to get in.

Will be there both days - have an exhibitors pass so will be able to skip the queue from hell thank god. Still have to get there for somehting like 8 am so it's gonna be a long weekend. 0_0

2 weeks to go...

Update.
A friend has informed me that after the 9th they've been sending out E-tickets in PDF form for us to print. I'll tentatively give this a go when I get to a printer.

I have a printer if you need Zin.

Chaos.....can we meet up before the expo? i'd like to come but don't want to go on my own.

With trains i'm fine....but i have been known to erm....end up lost in london lol.

Do I need to even point out that I'm going anymore? I'm there. I'm always there. Looking forward to it, but it seems I can't just grab whatever money I have lying around this time. I may need to pop into the bank...

I hope Ronald D. Moore signing things doesn't cost much, because, as much as I dislike what he did to the Battlestar - I do respect him.
