Welcome to the official Winter 2018 legal anime streaming status thread, where I note down all of the titles that are currently available for the UK & Ireland. Much like the previous season, all of the titles Crunchyroll and Funimation license will be streaming on Crunchyroll in subtitled form while the select few will be available dubbed over on Funimation Now.

Last season the streaming service Daisuki will no longer be in-use, with Dragon Ball Super concluding its simulcasts by the end of 2017.

Amazon notes as per usual, they have exclusive international streaming rights to the Animeism & NoitaminA block so any of the new titles will be with that service only. Sentai Filmworks titles will also remain exclusive to HIDIVE unless there is an exception.

Now that the thread is here earlier than usual due to a couple titles confirmed already on certain services, we are approaching 2018 - the year of the sequels.

So far on streaming confirmations we have four titles coming exclusively to Amazon Prime; Beatless and Killing Bites from the Animeism programming block, Love is Like After the Rain from the NoitaminA programming block, and a bonus addition from the same animation studio behind Genocidal Organ with Kokkoku: Moment by Moment. I believe there is one more Amazon exclusive title related to a kids-oriented show but I'll look into it later.

Crunchyroll so far have one title which was confirmed from back at Anime Expo 2017; A place further than the Universe, and also the recently popular idol series IDOLiSH 7 with its first two episodes already available on the service right now. There are a couple sequel shows that will no doubt end up on Crunchyroll & Funimation unless something happens.

Netflix will have its first proper anime original TV show hitting the service worldwide with Devilman crybaby during the early part of January. In addition we'll also have Violet Evergarden which will not be available until Q2 2018.

And last but not least we already know that Aniplex have already licensed Record of Grancrest War but so far streaming locations haven't been fully revealed. It's expected to be both Amazon Prime (US/CA) and Crunchyroll.
