Least favourite character!

I'm not sure about my overall least favourite character but, my least favourite character in the 2011 season is:

@Lupus what in the world are you talking about vash is awesome and i like how he won't kill no matter what and hes funny, a character that won't kill no matter what is good in my book
 
I like Vash as a comic character but his militant pacifism gets on my tits, especially when his hesitation to kill bad people results in countless deaths of innocent people. Twat!
 
How about Mihoshi Kuramitsu, Tenchi Muyo & spinoffs. Takes ditzy to a new level. Even her colleague Kiyone Makibi questions why she has the bad luck to be teamed up with her.
 
Less a character than a character type, I don't like Helgas.

A Helga, given the Mark and Lard definition is a manly woman, or in anime's case, an overly butch transvestite.

You see then as incidental characters in shows like Kiddy Girl-and, Tiger and Bunny, D-Gray Man and Shangri-La, a whole nightclub full of them in Speedgrapher.

The butch, musclebound guy, putting on the slap and femming it up, always the same, stereotypical voice. ****ing annoying!
 
I actually like them a lot (whether we're talking about manly women or butch transvestite men). They aren't very original any more but their liberal personalities come off as refreshing. And if nothing else they tend to have visually interesting designs!

And Fire Emblem isn't butch! He's one of the girls ;_;

I wouldn't mind if they're was more individuality and character to them, but they come off the same cookie cutter production line, screaming 'trope' at the top of their lungs.

May as well be pantomime dames.
 
I think that could be a problem with most archetypes (though it's more annoying if it's a grating one to begin with). My least favourite type of character is the brooding, emo type who causes endless problems by angsting over things instead of just facing them and sorting things out. I get stressed watching series with love triangles between this type and a much more interesting guy. Girls, pick the more interesting guy!

First of all, using the comedic concept of bashing a character on the head to bring about memory loss or personality change in a show that tries to take itself too seriously is ******* stupid. It's like whoever made this series wrote themselves into a corner so they had rely on convenient head trauma so that she could switch personalities in order to make the plot progress. I guess her being a "tortured soul" with obvious mental issues isn't good enough for some people. Then there's her personality. Her cute side, Nyu, exists solely to provide fan service in various ways. Contrary to belief of many anime fans, you can make innocent and childish characters without resorting to making them retarded and relying on animal noises to communicate. She also likes to get her knockers out from time to time in the name of "comedy", despite the fact the scenes are neither funny nor fit with the tone of the series. As for Lucy, she is just a bitch.
 
i agree that lucy is a 100% bitch but seeing her in her childhood you gotta feel sorry for her but i blame her DNA it was telling her to kill humans ( i read information about it)
it would be best if lucy just disappear and nyu took over for ever

you wished that you never watched and have mixed feelings about it and you dont like the brutality of it and the sad scenes and you feel sorry for some of the characters.

i wished gundam seed wasn't created

I actually quite liked Elfen Lied :p

Although the manga paints a different, and more bizzare picture; there's a lot of agreement that amongst fans that the sillouette seen at the end of the finale of the anime was a returned Lucy with a more coherant, restored personality, rather than the split personalities (and the submerged instinctive personality)

Well that IS the whole point of the show, personally I'll never watch it again because I felt like absolute **** by the time I finished it.

For me I don't have a least favourite character, but like JPT I have a character type that annoys me, and that's the protagonist of just about every Shonen Rom-Com, they're all the ******* same! Just about the only one that I like is Keitaro from Love Hina.

i dislike the leaf village elders from naruto its there fault that the uchia clans dead and they didn't listen to the 3rd hokage to seek another way now they have to deal with sasuke now.

i support sasuke all the way

I have to agree with you there! Normally I watch one episode of an anime, get addicted and watch the hole season in about a day but with Elfen Lied I just didn't feel that way.
