On a more serious note, I was mildly interested to see a live-action Akira, but seeing how little the people involved seem to care I'm glad it's falling to pieces. If they'd genuinely cared about making a good Akira movie rather than a quick buck, this would have great talent lining up to be in it. As it stands they clearly have made no effort to even try and I'm glad such laziness has not allowed them to coast to release
