Right then, lets give this a go!
Have fun. Best beginners tip I can give is a simple reminder that it is not a race so just take your time and go slow

My best beginners tip so far seems to be 'Don't cut your fingers off accidently' or 'Don't cut tiny pieces above deep pile carpet'.Have fun. Best beginners tip I can give is a simple reminder that it is not a race so just take your time and go slow
Finding tiny pieces that have flown off the sprue or where you were placing it is difficult enough without adding carpet to the equation. My best beginners tip so far seems to be 'Don't cut your fingers off accidently' or 'Don't cut tiny pieces above deep pile carpet'.
Can't wait to see the third leg completed tomorrowAnother day another leg.
There are both Bandai and Kotobukiya kits available. I haven't built any of the current Bandai kits, but the Kotos look great. I wouldn't recommend the Kotos for beginners as they are double the price of the Bandai kits and the hands are awful to assemble(a common thread with Koto kits).I'd rather go down the Eva route though, is there anything along those lines available for a reasonable price?
