okay there have been no simpsons quotes (except the eat my shorts bender one) so just to be fair(ish) i put this simpsons one in just as a show of good will... :?

Homer: Marge? Since I'm not talking to Lisa, would you please ask her to pass me the syrup?
Marge: Dear, please pass your father the syrup, Lisa.
Lisa: Bart, tell Dad I will only pass the syrup if it won't be used on any meat product.
Bart: You dunkin' your sausages in that syrup homeboy?
Homer: Marge, tell Bart I just want to drink a nice glass of syrup like I do every morning.
Marge: Tell him yourself, you're ignoring Lisa, not Bart.
Homer: Bart, thank your mother for pointing that out.
Marge: Homer, you're not not-talking to me and secondly I heard what you said.
Homer: Lisa, tell your mother to get off my case.
Bart: Uhhh, dad, Lisa's the one you're not talking to.
Homer: Bart, go to your room.
 
I will give a simpsons quote as well, though i can't tell you what season it is (really i don't know) :roll:

Bart (In an attempt to show he's cool): Do the bartman yeah!
Ralph: That is so 1991...

Simpsons has the ability of making me smile no matter how many times I watch a repeat, but futurama doesn't seem to have the same rewatchability factor for me
 
Fry: Our series isn't actually funny, just entertaining with all the epic things in the 31st Century.

Homer: I agree, while my show is just completely ****** now and just needs to end, though was once funny.

How I see it.
 
I finally got around to watching the movie today. Was pretty darn good I must say. Couldn't stop smiling all the way up to the end of the opening credits. Its new Futurama -Squeeeee-. It really didn't feel like I haven't seen anything new from them in five years.

Another six months X Cohen has said till the next movie (roughly).

I might watch the movie again now actually, Whilst lying in bed. Nice to 99% of characters there, I say 99% because a helluva lot more could've been snuck in, Like how the Aliens from Omicron Persei 8 were in the church of sorts. Also I never realised how many subtle references and 'in-side fan jokes' I would get, I found it to be another pro added to the film. =D

Overall, Its a highly entertaining film, Moreso than that other animated thing with Groening labeled all over it.

Chracter? He's more like a vessel for one liners than a legit character, which has pretty much become the fate of the entire Simpsons cast now.

Ralph Wiggum in the movie was like processing Family Guy into a fine paste and having it spew out of the screen in certain dull spots. Back in the good old days of the Simpsons though, Ralph was a brilliant character and his tendency to be thrown in anywhere just to say something amusing was managed a lot more competently.
