Final Fantasy: Dissidia

Balthier is Setzer's son and as bland a character Vaan is, he -is- the lead of XII. Also, you know who I want as a secret character...? Lightning, needs more females. I can't have Terra alone for females, even though we have Ultimecia and Cloud of Darkness.

Putting Lightning in would be an awesome idea. They put Luso in FFT: War of the Lions and that was before FFTA2 was out, so it's feasible.

Speaking of FFT, I hope Agrias or Ramza or Delita make an appearance in Dissidia!

There would also be something wrong about them not putting one of the Cids in, in an odd little way.

I absolutely hate Tetsuya Nomura with a passion. The fact that he doesn't do anything original ever since the PS1 era ended just fuel my passion. Okay, I lie... The World Ends with You is the best game since Chrono Trigger imo. But other than that, his overuse of character designs is starting to peeve me off.

I hate FFXII for many different reason. The only good thing I like is Balthier, but the story and characters didn't do it for me. And I'm saying this in a mature way as possible, so don't try and rip my head off like angry fanboy with rabies..

So uh... what was that about Locke being the FF:VI lead?

Terra's seiyuu is Yukari Fukui [Nono in DieBuster, Nia in TTGL] I cried tears of joy. I'm definately buying a PSP now.
 
Yeah, but Terra lacks green hair and Kefka, well... Nomura is obviously a Dark Knight fan. Also, Cloud and Squall have the -exact- same face.

Its Tetsuya Nomura, what do you expect? It be a huge achievement if he did something original with the art design.

Also... Terra without green hair? *cries* Emo-san ****** up my favourite female character
 
Lovely. I'm glad they didn't go for Locke, even though I like him. Variety is good (Cloud and Squall certainly have the pouty, irritating male leads covered), but I think Zidane can cover some of Locke's traits and it was getting to be a bit of er, a sausage fest otherwise.

You know, I didn't even notice that. But then, Terra had blonde hair in Amano's designs and the CGI trailer from the PS1 version, so it's not really a bastardisation of the character. If I had a PSP i'd be excited.
 
I'm reasonably happy with the characters choices, but I'll miss Quistis or Selphie...
I failed recognize quite a few of the characters there in the Lupus post. Can anyone identify them for me?

I knew there wouldn't be any FFXII characters, but I'm still disappointed :/

In any case, the game is getting good previews, so I'm really looking forward to it! :]
