I heard from other websites that most developers and publishers are using other shows to spring surprises, mostly because of the way E3 was changed.

yeah, when i was reading some stuff on 1up and watching some roundtable discussion videos on ign and 1up, that seems to be the case.
still...the way E3 is getting shitter every year really breaks my heart...it used to be the ONE event all gamers used to get excited for...

i think another reason why E3 is getting shitter is because info in the gaming industry is leaked to easily and instantly published on gaming blogs/site...

still i cant wait to play those upcomming RPG's for 360...
 
Yeah same here, as a kid when i first heard about E3 i wanted to go to it, and one of my dreams was to actually attend it once but not now. Still the nintendo confrence surprised me a little bit, since i would of thoguht they would of at least hinted at the exsitence of a new Zelda, Mario etc but if nothing is announced at TGS then i think they are going to have a very cold winter from the core fanbase...Other then that then the Wii is probably going to be sold out again as Nintedo reaches into more of the populace

There's a rock band 2 coming out now, with added cymbals :p

Oh and penny arcade put up a new comic which i think fits perfectly here

Also there is a new zelda game coming out, since Shigsy has commented on it, but looks like we won't be seeing it for a long time.

In other news Dead Rising is coming to the Wii as a direct port...I was so sure Capcom were going to announce a sequel to that :(
 
the only wii game i can see i am interested in getting is 'The Conduit' the graphics really seem to be showing what the system is capable of and the team working it is really trying to make an FPS game like none other on the wii.
check out the 2 videos below that demo's the game for the first time, pretty interesting......although it still does look like your average shooter.

i think this game could turn out pretty decent....now if only someone would publuish this game...(the game seems to be having trouble getting one)
 
That looks as generic as Haze. The guy didn't even sound like he was excited or knew very much. All he did was describe what was on the screen.
 
Looks pretty average when you look at a lot of other futeristic type FPS I guess. But for the Wii I suppose that's a good thing?

dont get me wrong..im only praising the technical features of this game considering its on the wii and it could turn out decent.
yeah like i mentioned, it does look like your average shooter

truth is, hardcore gamers will buy the good games anyway, what they want is to secure the more of the casual gamers as well now...

Are you implying that real gamers (not hardcore gamers) are getting crap games?

This kind of thinking towards Nintendo is annoying. Last time I checked, Nintendo were the only ones catering to everyone.

As far as I can see, Wii Music is way more accessible than **** like Rock Band and Guitar Hero 4. For my Wii, I also have more than twice the amount of games than my 360, and they're all "proper" games.

I know, i love Halo to bits but i'd like to see Bungie do something new whilst at the same time eager for more Halo goodness.

If rumours are true and it's due for November then XBOX has so owned the christmas market.
