I see, although they are so similar I don't honestly see any difference tbh, either way you are in another world. I guess the death game element just adds a bit more drama.
 
When it comes to Isekais, the best one I've watched is probably The Vision of Escaflowne.

I've watched a lot of Isekai and the reason I love it is because I think the concept is great and it can have dozens of storylines. Sure, concepts would be similar between shows, but there's always something there for me to enjoy - unless it's Master of Ragnarok.

I thought Tilarna was an alien, so from another world that's fantasy based yes, but one from our universe. Isekai, to my mind, a fantasy place that don't exist in our universe.

Ones off your list that I forgot off my list the other day is Drifters, Spirited Away (although I think I was talking about series) and the concealed one (plus it's hentai predecessor, for you know, research purposes 😏). Also talking of movies The Boy and the Beast has elements of it, but I can't remember if that's a spoiler or not.

Yeah I was quite loose on COP CRAFT but hey, it was a decent series. I actually almost put BOFURI as Video Game Isekai lol

BOFURI, I guess, doesn't have the trapped element of the original SAO arc and Alicization and .hack//SIGN which is also on my list.

I just remembered another, which I dropped, but IIRC was a transported isekai and that's Conception.
