Mornin Voddas, Been playing World at war and don't know what your talking about. cod4 and cod5 are different. the only thing i see thats the same is the GPRS looking load out at the start of the mission. i like the guns........playing hundreds of hours on Medal of Honour frontline and then rising sun i grew to love certan guns
and a bayonete attached to your rifle = +1 on the killing front. kamikaze japs running at you from hiding in tall grass and countering their attack is a real bonus.
I've played the multiplayer too and must say.....the levels are 10th fold better in graphics and detail than cod4.
although i miss my modern guns their only a disk change away decided not to part ex COD4 for COD5 in the end. glad i didn't

But the the graphics aren't as good. They lowered the graphics to introduce other themes (eg Limbs being blown off). They stated that themselves. The multiplayer is awesome like. It's not made by the same team as COD4 either so it plays more like COD3/2 etc. Still a good game but the solo game lacks the same movie style storyline. Counterattacking the japs is fun like lol.
