Slow day by the looks of it...

Is anyone else pissed off with those Far Cry 2 online adverts? They cover part of your screen and make things behind unclickable 'til it's gone away. One just popped up over my e-mails in my Yahoo mailbox. Forcing people to look at ads online should be made illegal if you ask me, at least those "brought to you by..." ones that flash up you can just skip.

Guess I'm lucky coz that's never happened to me. How big is your monitor? Mines a 22" which mite explain why I can always see everything?

I don't think monitor size or resolution would make a difference, they just pop up over whatever's on the screen. There was a Terminator one like that too but at least it stayed near the advertising banner. Hope they don't become a new trend or the internet is going to end up like in Futurama where you have to fight the adverts. :lol:

@Voddas: Infected eh? I would of prefered the classic Zombies (they should of never started running for me it takes the fear out of them) still might give it a look, i wanted game like this where if you are killed you become one of the baddies

Yeah, walking Zombies are much more creapier but seeing this game in action. You could be walking around a corner and there's like 50 people walking around. As soon as one spots you they all start sprinting towards you climbing over anything in the way. It looks propper scary lol. Can't wait. ^_____________^

@Ayase...I forgot about them :p Those there are the only ones i've come across so far...i should really watch it I need to go looking for names now on the Macross part of the list, i know what i'm looking for just not their names (i also tried my best to keep the sizes comparable to each other, hence why i downgraded King J-Der to J-Der...Having a battleship sized Mech stomping on you isn't fun)

The screen res has nothing to do with it.
look at the botton right of your internet window......should say 100%....if it doesn't you can always go to view and change the zoom of the window.

I don't think you guys get what's happening. I'm browsing a web page. Over part of the page, in the same window (could be anywhere) a semi-transparent Far Cry 2 ad appears. if you try to click anything behind the ad you get sent to to Far Cry site.

It's a new form of forced advertising and I don't like it one bit.

Right-o. Don't use yahoo which explains why I haven't seen one. Hope more don't pop up coz it sounds highly irratating to me.
