Okay Skynet was a bit over my head but i created this program to guard my computer...its name...The Master Control Program or MCP for short
(Hows that for an old skool movie refrence )
Serious note, i'm one step closer to finishing the demo now, i still have a lot of work to do on these enemies mind, need to get blocking actions in place, i need to sort out the kamikaze type guys, then there's the animations etc but its all do able and i swear as my name as the King of Braves that i'll have it done!

10845 if everything goes as planned the demo must be ready by next wedensday at the earliest and that's with as many functions and features as i can cram in at that time, then if we get the go ahead with the fellowship this game will be put on the backburner till fellowship is over and we have our buisness and then we may return to it (and this time we'll get paid for working on it) and then make it a full game.
Thinking about it...it may not of been a good idea to put the enemy shooting function is now as its messing with my ability to check other enemy attributes...i think this calls for a god mode cheat...

i come back from lunch and someone's been pratting around with my sheets on my desk, ffs.
Now i have to sort this mess out *sigh*
well, im sodded too because laura's not working in her office this and next week, so can't talk on email.
and as she's working as a cleaner for the organisation she works for (instead of working on the admin side, sorting out hospitals and units) so texting is few and farbetween.
not fun.
And im tired.....3rd week missing college maybe?
not good.

I wouldn't keep missing college if I were you Tachi. I made the same mistake when I went. Best bet is to just get it done. You only have to it once if you do it right.
I've been thinking about doing some night courses myself. Need to get some random education under my belt to move on. Besides having access to the net all day, this job sucks eggs.
@Black: Woop! Didn't realise you were that close to a finished demo. Hope it turns out alright and thumbs up on the God Mode cheat. Every game needs one!

@Voddas yeah well God Mode didn't take that long to add and i was just playing around with some of the textures so that they changed colour when the cheat was active The enemies have movement now, not under the computer control yet but that's the next step :twisted:

I'd go....if they didn't treat the whole class as children.
"whats this blue cable for? its sometimes green, yellow or red, but what does it do?"
Its a internet cable, give me a break!
The tutor walks round the room and everytime he comes across to my desk and asks what im upto that lesson. because whilst he's struggling to teach the class the basics on batchfiles and macro's and i sit in the lesson with headfones in, listening to music whilst doing my own batchfiles on a much higher calibur than the rest.
theres another guy who matches me in that class and we talk about things during the lunch that everyone else has stood scratching their heads on what to do.
i know everyones different, but thats why there's a basic level....most of the class thought they can skip the basic class and jump straight into the 2nd level Comp maintanence diploma. thats when i get annoyed, i jumped straight into it. but i have the I.T knowledge to do that, they clearly don't.

10852 yeah you missed the original sound system fall apart The original plan was to have the levels, enemy placement and item placement decided by the song the user chose as the background music, resulting in unlimted replayabilty. However due to certain limiations with the sound system this wasn't going to be possible, to next step was to have just enemy and items decided by the music but this isn't in the game so far as it requires a lot of work on this alone. So in short not skilled enough yet for playing around with sound in this manner

Well, only 42 mins to go. Gonna walk to Asda when I finish (seeing as I don't have a car). Get this weeks shopping out of the way me thinks. Then we can settle down tonight and watch some of HOUSE Season 4. I loves it ^_____^

I think HOUSE is cool. I love the way he's nasty to everyone. Gets me in stitches at times. Plus it's something the misses enjoys too so it's a bonus. Laurie is a genius in my eyes.
