I'll be getting Haruhi just to see what all the fuss is about. I'll wait until HMV stock it to see if they sell it for £15 before pre-ordering from Play, though...

I already own My-HiME - region one 'art box' and all - but I strongly recommend it. Ayase should note that it features excellent Kaijura music.

Witch Hunter Robin is a rather lifeless, mildy entertaining 'monster of the week' series, with an utterly retarded ending. Not worth owning, in my opinion...

And as for R2, it really isn't worth £60. At a push, S1 was, but those releases weren't art boxes and £60 for a 9-10/10 on DVD was pushing it a little...

Ooh, I was wondering when they'd release R2. I still haven't got the second half of Lelouch of the Rebellion though, will have to order it eventually.
I wonder if Beez will do the same thing as they did at London MCM Expo in October and have it on sale at the May expo? If they do, I'll probably buy R2 there rather than order it from HMV.

Glad to see Code Geass R2 get a confirmed release date, will most definitely be picking that one up. I will most likely buy WHR and My-Hime sets as well, but I won’t be buying Haruhi Suzumiya as I already have the limited editions.

...and the best thing about Geass R2 is it seems they'll be doing the series in a total of two sets again rather than the four they did over in America. (Judging on the Amazon page)

Wow, Beez are really going for it. And finally a title I don't already have - I'll grab Geass R2 for sure when it hits the shelves.

Mmmmm. I have the region 1 release of Code Geass: R2 - Part 1, but didn't get the rest as I wasn't impressed with the packaging (esp. compared to Season 1) and the fact it was in four parts and very expensive, so I think I may be trying to sell that and sticking to the region 2 release. Ah, thank you, Beez :)

It's all good news - most of these aren't of interest to me, but Beez are putting some serious stuff out there! I've asked this elsewhere, but did any of these shows get a region 2 release before?

A few observations:

I was under the impression we'd be getting two titles a month, though - this info seems to suggest otherwise. Hmm...

I also notice that the online pre-order prices have jumped up a few pounds.

All of these shows have a previous R2 release.

REALLY??!

Wow! I mean, I knew Witch Hunter Robin had done the rounds before, but I honestly thought the other two were new to the UK. I probably assumed that as they're not really my bag - I wouldn't have paid much attention to previous R2 releases.

I hope Beez eventually make good on their comments about bringing anime to the UK that hasn't officially been here before.

I've got HIGH hopes.

Given that anime sales are... not great right now (and that's a polite understatement) plus the cost of convertiong from NTSC to PAL, I'm not expecting to see anything that we haven't already had for a while.

However, it's good news if we can expect to see older Beez-licensed shows being put out on the AL label. I've got my fingers crossed waiting for Gundam Wing!

Because the UK is CRIMINALLY undernourished when it comes to Gundam.

Good prices there!

I'll probablu pickup Wolfs rain and i'm almost tempted by witch hunter robin which was almost good at times... just the ending was a suck fest...

cool, that's a much better price for My HiME, I'll probably get it at that price.

(also hi, this is my new account, old one is SundayMorningCall, but I wanted to use this username as its the same as other sites and stuff that I use, so just disregard my old account, I wont be using it anymore)

If you go into Forum Profile, you can change your username. I'd probably say that's your best bet (to change SundayMorningCall to SciFiBoy).

Also, it looks like you'll need to change your name to SyfyBoy ;)
