Anyone bar Voddas and McIcy here playing on PC? If so PM me about Steam. It'd be ace to play together online.

I'm hooked
Sorry about Friday night mate. It's only once in a blue moon that my Brother brings his PC round for a LAN. Plus, I can't believe how awesome the special ops are!! I can lose many an evening playing those missions. I love that they have Modern Warfare 1 co-ops too. Sniper Level! XD

Damn I love this game. 8)

Haha it's fine. Just make it up to me next time we're both in game. We'll do some ass kicking on Domination or Demolition ;):)

...this game is why I haven't posted here the last two weeks. XD

Anyone else playing the 360 version? I'm up to lvl.30 on the multiplayer, barely touched the single player mode.

Regards,
K

I know what you mean about not even touching the single player :p also the Special Ops thing is quite fun to play with a mate. I'm 'cardybean' on xbox live if you wanna add me... =)

Also, I played CoD (1) multiplayer on the PC for like 5 years, because I just didn't like any of the others, particularly CoD4, but for some reason... I really like this one =)!

i'm the same

in my books WaW >> MW2 >>>> MW

probually cause u need to be able to aim on WaW but on MW2 it's not a case of just frag the enemy to death

I've been stuck unable to play it over the weekend thanks to my keyboard deciding to blow out at 7pm on saturday evening. And as my wireless keyboard is no good for gaming I had to wait til sunday morning to get over to pc world and pick up another Saitek Eclipse II board, if only it had lasted a few more weeks I could've got myself the Eclipse III.

Still I am now back online and loving it, nothing better than leveling up and unlocking the next weapon, hopefully I'll get home from work tonight and get back to leveling up my sniper rifle

Had to wait for PC World

@Ryo: I know what you mean. In WaW, the multiplayer certainly seperates the people who can aim to the noobs. Speaking of noobs, I freaking hate noob tubes! That's one thing I wouldn't miss. I know there can be tactics involved in using the grenade launcher but 90% of the time it's basicaly a noobs weapon. Only having to aim in the general direction of the enemy just doesn't lay right with me... sorry... I don't mean to complain but it's the root of my rare game rage. lol

@McIcy: Ouch, that sucks. Same thing has happened to me before so I now have spares in case of it happening agan.
See you playing every so often. We'll have to have a game at some point. Special Ops is freaking sweet also.

I could use some help on the 2 player special ops missions as they look freaking cool

If only they were 3 player :(

3 or 4 player Special Ops would have been awsome however I think the two player gameplay makes it special too. More may spoil it. Levels like the Ghillie Sniper Operation wouldn't work with more than two. Well, imo anyway.

@Spyro: Hows your internet connection now by the way?

@McIcy: I'd love a Spec Ops game mate. Just need to be online and playing at the same time now. :p

You didn't like Modern Warfare, but you like Modern Warfare 2? I'm not picking here, but I'd like to know why. ...please. ^___^

haha I'm not sure, it's probably because I was playing CoD1 MP a lot at the time... And the transition from a really old (and totally smooth) game to a totally modern game might have just beena bit too much for me :p. It was also on the PC, maybe I like MW on the xbox better... Not sure ^^

Fare enough. :p

I'm 100% FPS on the PC myself. I've never understoof FPS with a controler. It may be fun when your not used to keyboard and mouse but if you are, then it just feels so wrong and slow paced.
I never played the earlier COD games (well on multiplayer anyway). Was a huge Battlefield Player though. Those games were the ****. Heh. Battlefield 3 is out next year. I bet that is going to be major. XD

I felt completely the same (PC FPSer) until I got my xbox, which I only got 'cause I split up with my gf and wanted to buy something expensive, haha. But now.. I dunno, I've been converted I guess.

CoD1 was amazing! Totally amazing =) I'll never enjoy an FPS as much as I did that

I prefer consoles for FPS because actions can be mapped to combinations of buttons and your fingers don't need to move to press things as much. I can see why people might prefer PCs but I just find consoles more convenient.

My mouse has 5+ buttons and I have a keyboard at my left hand. ;)

I know what you mean though. It's a comfort thing. I wasn't refering to buttons as such. I was refering to movement and speed. You have to aim using your thumb on console. You move with your arm to aim on PC freeing your thumb up for another action... but I'm obviously gonna say that coz I'm a PC player. ^___^
