Here's a weird one I just found! Panty and Stocking as 15 even though disc 2 says 18 In fact I could have sworn it said 18 earlier!Looks like a 15 to me, with Ep8 marked up for violence?
Looks like it's incorrectly marked as a Film on the BBFC website. It displays as a 15 because that's the rating of the first item in the set. Here's a weird one I just found! Panty and Stocking as 15 even though disc 2 says 18 In fact I could have sworn it said 18 earlier!
Normally in the US the show has the same rating through-out. I remember telling someone the first 3 episodes of Interspecies Reviewers were 17+ (much like what Panty and Stocking is in America) and she asked if they'd rate it by episode. Then I said that it's going to be on a blu-ray so she said "So it's all going to have the same rating". So I did find it ironic that Germany rated it by disc. Though given it's Critical Mass (a company that specialized in Adult entertainment) I doubt they'd care. Now there is a weird example I found of a blu-ray having multiple ratings is the US release of "Fire in His Fingertips" says "TV-MA-LSV" but also "18+ Only" since they mean the TV edit is TV-MA but the hentai version is 18+ only when TV-MA literally has the word "only" in the definition "mature audiences ONLY" in fact I have seen other North American hentai releases that say "for mature audiences only" which is EXACTLY what TV-MA stands for (but the age is 17 instead of 18) so it seems whoever came up with the TV rating system confused 17 for being an adult. So all that over ONE tiny mistake? Also the "on air" version is still 18+ on Amazon Prime anyway. Now it seems there was a similar situation with "Tokimeki Check in" it seems it was rated AO by the ESRB but included some unrated games thus the rating symbol was different. Since unlike the BBFC, the ESRB (as far as I can tell) doesn't rate pornography.Looks like it's incorrectly marked as a Film on the BBFC website. It displays as a 15 because that's the rating of the first item in the set.
This is because films may contain bonus discs of a higher rating than the main feature (e.g. encanto's bonus features), and so the BBFC site is programmed to show the rating of just the film (since most people just want to find that out). The higher rating is still used on the box though (e.g. haruhi-chan's rating was bumped because the live action minoru shiraisihi in full-body ogre facepaint battle bonus feature contains pornographic references)
This is wonderful news.View attachment 30411
Konosuba!: God's Blessing On This Wonderful World! - Legend Of Crimson (Film) - strong sex references, sexual threat.
Unfortunately it's Crunchyroll releasing it and not Anime Limited according to the listing. This is wonderful news.
This also unfortunately means that Discotek won't be the ones releasing it in the US, but if I'm correct, at the time of this post, a US release hasn't even been announced yet.Unfortunately it's Crunchyroll releasing it and not Anime Limited according to the listing.
It hasn't, only the Australian release has been solicited so far. This also unfortunately means that Discotek won't be the ones releasing it in the US, but if I'm correct, at the time of this post, a US release hasn't even been announced yet.
I cannot get a movie blu-ray to match my Discotek Seasons 1 and 2 or AL Seasons 1 and 2. I hate Crunchyroll so much.Unfortunately it's Crunchyroll releasing it and not Anime Limited according to the listing.
Ah, the really transphobic one. Disappointing film.View attachment 30411
