Please let me know if there are any problems with the survey.

Re: Anime UK News Awards and Customer Satisfaction 2015 Survey Open

I have a similar question, do you mean films released theatrically in Japan this year or films released on Home Video in the UK this year?

Re: Anime UK News Awards and Customer Satisfaction 2015 Survey Open

Started it but gave up as I really don't think it's aimed at me. I don't read manga and only stream Netflix. I don't know what anime is actually new this year, only what's been released domestically that I've bought and watched.

I also think having multiple choice for questions about releases would be be good and remind people what came out rather than just a text box (could always have other then a text box for unlisted releases).

Done, While I dislike Neo's limited choices/aparant bais/ignoring it's actually quite hard when faced with just a empty box.

I also feel at a disadvantage as I don't stream, so some of those questions I just had to leave blank

Finished the survey. I wasn't sure on the film and light novels questions, so I had answered with things that was released here

Why is Google asking me to log in to take a simple survey? Not happening!

Because it's set up as a Google Document, it's asking you to log in so they can track who has accessed the document. It's generally used for things like word processing or spreadsheets shared with multiple people, where it makes sense to track who has made the edits. I would have thought Google would turn it out for the survey feature, apparently not....

Is light novel for official UK releases or in Japan?

English-language releases of light novels.

It just has to be an English-language release, on home video or some form of legal streaming service.

A list of light novel series that have started releasing in print in English language this year:
Attack on Titan: Harsh Mistress of the City // Shingeki no Kyojin: Kakuzetsu Toshi no Jouou
Black Bullet
Durarara!!
Kagerou Daze
Kingdom Hearts: The Novel
Log Horizon
Naruto sequel stories // Naruto Hiden
No Game No Life
Pandora Hearts Caucus Race
Strike the Blood
Sword Art Online Progressive
The Devil is a Part-Timer! // Hataraku Maou-sama!
The Isolator // Zettai Naru Isolator
The Rising of the Shield Hero // Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari

Question 20 has no option for "it's about right as it is" so I had to go for "don't know".

Re: Anime UK News Awards and Customer Satisfaction 2015 Survey Open

I've entered my votes. Was actually pretty hard to think of a manga, because a lot of what I've bought this year have been continuations of series' that started last year.

The poll also needed a "Shirobako was objectively the best show to air this year; which Shirobako was the best Shirobako?" to which there was only one acceptable answer: Shirobako.

What about that episode of Hackadoll? Or is that banned on the technicality that it was called Kurobako instead of Shirobako?

Re: Anime UK News Awards and Customer Satisfaction 2015 Survey Open

Why do I always forget Shirobako came out this year? I always think it came it in like 2010 or something...

I've amended that question so it now includes that comment, which should have been there. I think you should be able to go into the survey and change your answer.

Only acceptable Shirobako is Shirobako. No bako other than Shirobako.

This is true, although I can't help thinking of this as an elaborate psychological test given that "Shirobako" literally translates as "White Box" (as I understand it) and most surveys tend to have just such things to fill in.
